Introducing McMinnville Chiropractor Dr. Jason Lanning

“My parents first introduced me to Chiropractic when I was in Junior High School,” remembers Dr. Jason Lanning. “They insisted that I try chiropractic since I was experiencing almost daily headaches and intermittent back pain associated with a football injury. I’ll admit I was reluctant, but I went to see Dr. Charles Holton, the local chiropractor.”

“It was incredible,” continues Dr. Lanning “I’ll never forget that first adjustment. It was as if a huge weight was suddenly lifted from my shoulders. That’s when I decided I wanted to be a chiropractor.”

Dr. Lanning began his pre-chiropractic education at the University of Oregon where he studied general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, physics, physiology and anatomy in conjunction with general business courses. He completed a pre-med curriculum while earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration to complement his dream of one day owning his own Chiropractic clinic.

After completing his studies at U of O, he was accepted at Western States Chiropractic College (WSCC) in Portland, Oregon. During his four years at WSCC, course studies included biochemistry, pathology, neurology, biomechanics, pharmacology, and nutrition. Much of Dr. Lanning’s education emphasized anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in multiple college clinic settings. After graduating with a doctorate of chiropractic degree from WSCC, Dr. Lanning established his practice in McMinnville, Oregon where he continues to practice today.

“I love my chosen career, I enjoy my patients, and I’m proud of my practice. I’m excited to go to the clinic each day in anticipation of the opportunities to help as many people as possible.” Dr. Lanning goes on to say; “I understand the concerns and apprehension people might have when they are new to Chiropractic or even new to our clinic. For that reason, we make it a point to explain details in advance, answer questions, and endeavor to over communicate. I believe patients appreciate that approach.”

Dr. Lanning is married to Holly and they have two children, Kate and Drew. They are active in the community and enjoy the many attributes Yamhill County has to offer. “We specifically picked McMinnville because of the beauty and overall hometown feeling you experience when you visit this community.
